Career Development Program 2026 at AIUB
The Career Development Program 2026 was successfully held at American International University–Bangladesh (AIUB) as part of an initiative to support students in building strong, future-ready careers. The program was organized by Alpha Net and took place on Monday, 5 January at 4:00 PM in the university’s main conference hall.
The seminar was honored by the presence of distinguished academic leaders. The Chief Guest was Dr. Md. Saniat Rahman Zishan, Professor and Director, Faculty of Engineering. The Special Guest was Dr. Md. Ehasanul Haque, Associate Professor and Department Head, Department of Industrial & Production Engineering.
The keynote session was delivered by Abu Sufian Haider, who spoke on career design, professional growth, and long-term success strategies. Drawing from real-world experience, the session provided practical guidance on navigating career challenges, developing professional discipline, and creating sustainable career paths.
The program was chaired by Dr. Md. Abdul Mannan, Associate Dean, Faculty of Engineering, American International University–Bangladesh (AIUB).
More than two hundred students, along with faculty members, participated in the program. The primary objective of the session was to guide students in career planning, entrepreneurial thinking, and essential business skill development.
Key Focus Areas
- Career Development: Industry readiness, professional growth strategies, essential soft skills, emotional intelligence (EQ), leadership, management, and long-term impact.
- Entrepreneurial Mindset: Understanding value creation, innovation-driven thinking, and when and how to pursue entrepreneurial opportunities.
- Business Skills: Business life cycle awareness, growth strategies, business acumen, and the effective application of intrapreneurship.
At the conclusion of the program, digital certificates were provided to all participants in recognition of their active involvement.
The university administration expressed confidence that the program would help students establish strong career foundations and prepare them for future professional and entrepreneurial opportunities, with plans to host similar initiatives in the future.
