ICT Career Development Day 2023
On March 6, 2023, ICT Career Development Day 2023 was organized at the Alpha Net campus in Bogura. Co-hosted by Alpha Net and its affiliate Nova IT Institute, the event aimed to guide students on building successful careers in the ICT sector. Over 500 students attended across two shifts to explore career opportunities and skill development in technology.
The campus featured four interactive stalls, staffed by Alpha Net employees, where students could learn about various projects, services, and ICT initiatives. The event provided insights on skill-building, time management, and preparing for a productive professional life in ICT.
The keynote speaker was Abu Sufian Haider, U.S.-based IT entrepreneur, Microsoft Certified Solutions Developer, and founder of Alpha Net. He shared valuable guidance on self-assessment, skill development, and continuous improvement to achieve success in technology careers.
Special guests included Dr. Khaza Zakaria Ahmed Chishti, former Dean of Rajshahi University and current Dean of Science at Pundra University of Science & Technology, Councillor Arifur Rahman Arif (Ward 10, Bogura Municipality), and instructors from Bogura Polytechnic Institute: Mizanur Rahman and Mousumi Khatun.
Abu Sufian Haider emphasized the growing opportunities in the ICT sector, encouraging students to become skilled professionals who can contribute to Bangladesh and the world. A quiz competition was also organized, rewarding students with prizes for their participation and knowledge.
The event successfully concluded, inspiring students to pursue careers in ICT with confidence, skill, and ambition.
