On March 9, 2024, the 6th Web Hosting Summit was held at the renowned Hotel 71 in Dhaka. Organized by Alpha Net, one of Bangladesh's leading web hosting companies, the event brought together executives from over 35 top web hosting companies.

The summit aimed to discuss the overall development of the web hosting sector in Bangladesh and identify strategies to advance the industry nationally. Attendees explored current challenges, future opportunities, and ways to enhance collaboration among hosting providers.

Distinguished guests included Mr. Russell Ahmed, President of BASIS, as the Chief Guest, and special guests: Mr. Abu Dawood Khan, Vice President of BASIS, Mr. Ariful Hossain Tuhin, Assistant Police Commissioner (Cyber Crime Investigation), Mr. Sanjib Kumar Ghatak, Deputy Managing Director of BTCL, and Abu Sufian Haider, entrepreneur and CEO of Sineris Web Services.

The summit was hosted by Mr. Ekramul Haider, CEO of Alpha Net, with co-hosts Mr. Junayed Miazi (CTO, Limda Host), Mr. Saleh Ahmed (CEO, Exon Host), and Mr. Muhammad Shafiqul Rahman (Managing Director, Dhaka Web Host).

Participants reached a consensus on strengthening partnerships, addressing industry challenges, and collectively working towards the growth and improvement of Bangladesh’s web hosting sector. The summit concluded with a formal dinner, celebrating collaboration and progress within the industry.
